Our Tours
Our Tours are based around the village of Aberfoyle, 30miles from Glasgow and 20 miles from Stirling. More Cycle Tours offers you and your family and friends the unique opportunity for a guided mountain bike tour using Forestry Commission Fire Roads only, off the beaten track in Lochard Forest and Queen Elizabeth Forest Park in the heart of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. This area of Central Scotland is one of the most picturesque parts of the country, steeped in history and myth to match anywhere in Scotland. See the unique Victorian architecture of the Loch Katrine to Glasgow water supply, Aberfoyle's own electric vurn where the burna dnt eh road run alongside each other giving the illusion of the burn running uphill! Cross over the Highland Boundary Fault Line and cycle in the Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland in one day. Travel to the foothills of Ben Lomond, Scotland's most southerly Munro where the River Forth rises and onto a view looking down the whole of the Forth Valley. See the locally crafted metal sculptures which pay tribute to the local wildlife. During the tour there will be stop off points for photographs and lots of historical information about the area throughout. If you want to enjoy a cycle exploring our beautiful countryside without the formality of a tour leader, our guide can accompany your tour following your lead removing the fear of getting lost, comfortable in the knowledge that your guide can assist at any point and take you the quickest way home if that is what is required.
